Posting #2425-01 Teacher Teaching on Call

School District No. 22 (Vernon, B.C.) is currently accepting applications for dedicated and enthusiastic professional educators for teacher teaching on call positions in all subject areas.

Applicants must: possess a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate or be in the process of applying for one that will be effective immediately.

be prepared to work positively towards the fulfillment of the School and District Strategic Plan and be prepared to work in a collaborative/team environment;

be prepared to use technology (e.g.: computers, Smartboards, voice-mail, e-mail, web sites, MyEd BC) for planning, attendance monitoring, communication, classroom instruction and reporting purposes; and be prepared to support the school and district goals.While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.

The daily rate for a teacher teaching on call ranges from $308.29/day to a maximum of $457.51/day, with placement based on experience and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.Please apply with a current resume, evaluation reports, University transcripts and at least three current references.
