Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work,
- Possess a two (2) year Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma;
- Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) in good standing;
- Minimum of two year's experience;
- Recent experience with kindergarten-aged children preferred;
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities : In collaboration with the Kindergarten
Program Teacher, the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will plan and implement
developmentally appropriate activities that reflect the understanding of the continuum
of development for 4 and 5 year olds, for the Kindergarten Program. Together
with the Kindergarten Teacher, the ECE will observe, monitor and assess the
development of the children. The successful candidate, along with the Kindergarten
Teacher, will promote and maintain a healthy physical, emotional and social
learning environment.
