1.0 FTE (1 POSITION) at St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre Satellite Campus (Simcoe) Term Position : October 9, 2024 to June 30, 2028
Position Summary: The teacher will deliver the Intermediate/Senior Science and intermediate/Senior Mathematics curriculum to students at the St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre Satellite Campus. The teacher will teach three 75-minute periods and have one 75-minute preparation period. The classes could contain students from grades 7-12 and the students could be studying at any level of the Ontario curriculum. The teacher will work as part of a team at the St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre Satellite Campus to meet the individual needs of the students. Qualifications:
Basic* : Intermediate/Senior Science; Intermediate/Senior Mathematics
Additional : Special Education, Part I (preferred)
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
Other : Demonstrated ability to implement individualized programming both in terms of content and instructional strategies based on the diagnosed needs of the individual student;
Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
Strong understanding of Differentiated Instruction, curriculum development and assessment/evaluation practices;
Demonstrated understanding of effective assessment practices (e.g. Growing Success)
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

The teacher will be responsible for delivering Intermediate/Senior Science and Intermediate mathematics curriculum to students in Grades 7-12 at St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre Satellite Campus.
